The PPBSO, Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario, administers the Piping, Drumming and Pipe Band contests at various highland games throughout Ontario. The contests are run yearly in various locations through the summer in Ontario and several of these contests have special distinctions attached to them, such as North American Championship, Canadian and Ontario Championship.
The Toronto Branch meets monthly from October through May. Meetings are held at Moss Park Armoury and include a business meeting followed by a social period which includes recitals or adjudicated events.
